Accessibility & Inclusiveness
Here a The Tattooed Gent we are always striving to make our studio accessible for everyone. Got any suggestions? Drop us a message, we would love to hear your thoughts.
We do have a small step into the studio and also have a small ramp for access inside the shop. Once in the studio, the entire floor is level. We are more than happy to help or assist if you request it.
Tattooing is located at the back of the main room. Even though this is an open area we do our best to keep privacy to a high level. We are a private studio and work via appointments only, this means that the amount of people coming through our main door is minimal.
Body piercing is located at the very back room. This is a completely private room and clients will not be disturbed in there by anyone else. Please note that the back room is down a narrow corridor, please let us know if this may be an issue for you.
We have a selection of stim and fidget toys available, that you can use during your appointment or you can bring your own comfort items if you wish.
We are a queer, trans and neuro-divergent friendly studio. ‘The Tattooed Gent’ is part of the Transgender & non-binary family. This means you are welcome in our studio and will feel comfortable when having your tattoo or piercing.
For the most important part, tea and coffee is always readily available alongside other beverages. Matt our piercer/teas maid will always ask and offer 😀 Note: we offer dairy and non-dairy options in the studio.
What Do I Need To Bring With Me
- I.D – please bring a form of government issued photographic I.D for your tattoo or piercing. This can be a ‘Driving Licence’, ‘Passport’ or a ‘Citizen Card’. Without the correct I.D we cannot pierce or tattoo you.
- If you are feeling anxious or nervous about your appointment, bring something along that is comforting to you. We do have stim toys available.
- We also offer WIFI to all our clients if you’d prefer to watch videos, listen to your own music or scroll through your socials.
- Wear comfortable clothing.
- If it’s cold, bring a blanket!
- Bring snacks and drinks if you don’t prefer tea or coffee. Sugary drinks are a great way to keep those blood sugars up.
- If you are paying in cash, please bring the correct amount. We do offer other ways of payment via card, bank transfer and paypal.
